Wlm problem

I've been having another problem with windows live messenger. It keeps crashing on me. I'll be typing away at someone and it ill just say "Windows Live messenger not responding" and it doesn't start back up, and I have to keep restarting my computer. It gets rather anoying if you ask me. Well thanks in advance for the help,

Wow, I actually had the same thing happen to me, today. However, I just closed it, and then signed back in and it worked fine. Have you upgraded? I haven't, and I think that that might be why, but that's just a guess.

I have 8 something or other, I think. and I cannot stand it. I have to tab in to the history view and sometimes max the window. Man if only wlm would be more simple. I'd say try an upgrade too and see if that works.

maybe if people used a wonderful tool i love to use, called miranda, the wouldn't be having these problems with Window live messenger. It is CPU intensive, and its microsoft, so it's bound to crash, you know?

Go and download miranda preconfigured, and all you really have to do is fill yoru information in. your sounds are pre done and all of that.

Yeah, Miranda is really good, but you know Dan, a lot of people don't like the user interface, but it's much simpler in my opinion wiht out having to worry with that extra stuff on the screen. Has Miranda Preconfigured been updated recently?

Update: I actually downgraded to wlm 8.5 and I like it loads better. I haven't really had any problems with it since I downgraded. Thank you all,

I've never tried miranda pre configured, I like it with the speak plugin. Hmm I might give it a try, see what the sounds are like.

hey, I figured I would post my question here instead of starting something knew. I am trying to figured out how I can remove people from my allow list. What I mean is when I go in to options and privacy I can see everyone I have ever allowed but want them to disappear. Hopefully someone gets what I am saying.
